    HTML 5?

Old-time coder but haven't coded in 4+ years due to a coma. I lost a good chunk of memory. Anyway, I'm getting back into sites and see HTML 5 mentioned. Can I use older HTML without viewing problems? I want to code but can't find a guide with HTML 5 tags, just the ones I used to use

Thanks but that really doesn't answer my questions. For example, my first site went up in 1993. The HTML code had updates but I really didn't change anything. It still worked in browser (not that there were any at first other than Netscape)…. If my keep my sites, like blogs as is, will I run into issues?

Is there a guide to changes?

Some of the most interesting new features in HTML5:

The <canvas> element for 2D drawing
The <video> and <audio> elements for media playback
    Support for local storage
    New content-specific elements, like <article>, <footer>, <header>, <nav>, <section>
New form controls, like calendar, date, time, email, url, search
