this is bothering me

its starting to get on my nerves so i thought id ask. what i want to do is a movie clip tween in and it stops in the middle of the screen from the outside of the workarea. then i want it to go to the next frame when clicked. but i dont want it to do anything until its clicked.

but i have tryed using the goto action but it doesnt work it just plays ther movie clip why is this.

with that same action goToandPlay you will see a check box bottom left, clikc that it will chagne the action to go to & stop, do that, & also , click on the frame you want it to stop on in the above frames window,

Right click actions or 2b click, & give it a stop() action, on that frame when it gets to that frame it will stop & then your button should work fine. once you place the stop action on theframe that frame will have the letter a in it. this means an action is placed on the frame.
