    streaming videos

I saw a streaming video that I really wanted to put in a flash video I'm making but I can't because it isn't actually a file on my hard drive. I tried a lot of different things but the closest I got was an asx file that can't be read by Flash soes anyone know how to save it as a better file type or have a different solution to my problem?

You can get software that you will rip a video stream, and then if you can convert it into a media type that flash supports you should not have a problem , you should be able to find all what you need on

I found such a program that recorded the streaming video, but still all it gave me was an asx file that wouldn't play (a step down from what I had before) and a wmr file that couldn't open. When I tryed to open the asx file it said unable to establish a connection to the server. The program I used was WMR50. If anyone knows how to make it work, the help would be greatly appreciated
