HTML 5?
Old-time coder but haven't coded in 4+ years due to a coma. I lost a good chunk of memory. Anyway, I'm getting back into sites and see HTML 5 mentioned. Can I use older HTML without viewing problems? I want to code but can't find a guide with HTML 5 tags, just the ones I used to use

HTML5 is the latest version of HTML and XHTML. The HTML standard defines a single language that can be written in HTML and XML. It attempts to solve issues found in previous iterations of HTML and addresses the needs of Web Applications

Thanks but that really doesn't answer my questions. For example, my first site went up in 1993. The HTML code had updates but I really didn't change anything. It still worked in browser (not that there were any at first other than Netscape)…. If my keep my sites, like blogs as is, will I run into issues?
Is there a guide to changes?

Some of the most interesting new features in HTML5:
The <canvas> element for 2D drawing
The <video> and <audio> elements for media playback
Support for local storage
New content-specific elements, like <article>, <footer>, <header>, <nav>, <section>
New form controls, like calendar, date, time, email, url, search
