Why does everyone want paint. I do not get it. MS comes preloaded with paint why don't you just use it instead of downloading paint from the internet.

Unless your using Linux then why would you want a program like paint?

well if you deleted it from windows you can get it back by going to control panel> add/remove software> add/remove windows components look for it there i am sure its there.

When you mess with the windows file system you lose important things, While your in there be careful windows has important stuff in there.

Yes I've tried this, but it asks that I have my Original System Disk. This I do not have. Which is why I sought to download it.

But again I am still clueless as to what to do with the Pbrush.exe file.

Pbrush.exe is a Windows executable binary file. Just double click it and it will run... What's so hard about it?

I don't get it either. But I'll tell you 9/10 members that join here are only downloading that paint attachment and then never returning. It's upsetting if you ask me. :/

Thats not MS paint, thats why find another windows system and go copy there paint.exe and paste it back in your folder. If i had a windows Machine i would give you a download link but i don't like windows so sorry i do not have the stock paint.

I will check my parents computer later i have to pick it up to do some repairs and upgrades, I will take the file from it.

The pbrush.exe is MS Paint and should run fine.

Try downloading the ZIP file again. Remember, the file you are downloading is a ZIP file - You need to extract PBRUSH.EXE from that archive. Once the EXE is extracted, double click it to run it.

I second that about The Gimp. That's a VERY good program. I use it on Linux all the time, and a few years ago when all I had was a Windows machine up I installed The Gimp on it there, and it's just as good on Windows.

Think of The Gimp as PhotoShop's father. It's just as advanced, and has been around for much longer (and no it's not "oldschool" it gets frequent updates like PhotoShop does, so it's up to the times).
