    Mp4 you need to embed an apple quicktime mediaplayer

    So i belive this would be the code for that:
    Code:
    <OBJECT CLASSID="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B" WIDTH="160"HEIGHT="144" CODEBASE="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab">
    <PARAM name="SRC" VALUE="sample.mov">
    <PARAM name="AUTOPLAY" VALUE="true">
    <PARAM name="CONTROLLER" VALUE="false">
    <EMBED SRC="sample.mov" WIDTH="160" HEIGHT="144" AUTOPLAY="true" CONTROLLER="false" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/">
    </EMBED>
    </OBJECT>
    What it does, plays Mp4 and if someone does not have the plugin it prompts to download this is with no controller just put true instead of false

    mp4 is a container, most ever video play can handle mp4 video (even wmp)

    the user will need the proper codecs to see/hear the video/audio

    same thing goes (though avi and mpeg is not really a container like ogm, mp4, mkv, etc.), it all depends on what codec was used to encode the video

    CCCP codec pack contains almost every codec (well atleast the most common ones)

    is probably the best alternative
    i would recommend to convert it to flash.
    for example
    visit this link Video to flash converter has an option "generate HTML" that would help you lot.

    Hey ShrineDesigns. I downloaded this codec you suggested? Do you need to embed this codec into your HTML somehow to get your MP4 to play? If so, how does one do that?
    Thanks.
